Traffic Exchange Guide!

Please be aware that Traffic Exchanges are a great way to show any site you choose, virtually for free. However, there is a lot more to getting quality traffic than just clicking on traffic exchanges.

This is currently one of the best, cheapest and most surefire ways to market & promote your businesses! This will really start to drive traffic to your chosen sites.

Avoid using your personal email address when you sign up to any traffic exchange. You will be asked to confirm emails from the exchanges and receive member’s emails for signing up. Don’t use your Primary email account. You want to keep your primary email address free from excess emails! 

Sign up for a free account at  Gmail.com or Inbox.com  In almost all of the TE you are a member of, when someone comes into your downline you will be rewarded with a certain percentage of their surfing efforts. Sometime this will be on as many as 10 levels deep. When you are able to build large downlines you don’t have to surf quite as often. 

Enter your Home Income Team Lead Capture Page URL into all of the exchanges. As your downlines grow so will your exposure, and so will your income.

Join each traffic exchange and use your free email that you have setup earlier to confirm your memberships.  

Write down all your membership details in a notepad text file for each exchange. Program Name:Your User Name: Your Password:  Your Login URL: Your Referral links, and Surf URLs, (if they have them.) 

 You can join TrafficHoopla for a more extensive list of exchanges and safelists. Now, that should keep you busy for a while!  Make sure that every exchange you join has the “Manual Surf” option.

NOTE: Some facts about traffic exchanges Some exchanges require you to surf a certain number of sites before your account is activated. 

Make sure you check to see if the exchange has 1. A banner manager 2. A text link manager 3. A downline builder 4. A downline mailer. 

You want to take advantage of all the tools they have to offer. When you get notification from an exchange that someone has joined under you, and they give you the persons name and email address, immediately send them a welcome email offering your support and invite them to join the “Home Income Team”. If the exchange provides a mailer send the email there.

Always Check that you have assigned your credits to your traffic exchange referral site! And Keep checking the exchanges every now & then to make sure that your site has enough hits assigned to it! Failure to do so will mean your site will not be viewed by the other surfers! The more you surf the more credit you get. As your credits grow so does the amount of times your page is shown. This is a good way to get traffic to your site and a great way to build your list.

Multi-Tabbed Browsing 

The ability to open multiple sites at the same time inside one browser, allows you to really drive some serious traffic.

I recommend Firefox for two reasons: one, it has a tabbed interface; and two, it’s completely free. Firefox, is less prone to virus attacks while you’re surfing on the web and is very easy to implement. 

NOTE: Please make sure that you have a good and always updated antivirus software with a good firewall to protect you at all times. Surfing for traffic CAN BE DANGEROUS. 

 Adding Bookmarks to FireFox

Open your multi-tabbed browser. 
Top of Page Click on Bookmarks
In the drop down menu click Manage Bookmarks.
Then click New Folder (give the folder a name for the group of exchanges
you want to surf.)  EXAMPLES: Group 1, Group 2, Group 3] or Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday etc. Close the bookmark window and go back to the main page.

Copy and paste one of your surfing urls into the browser. (Copy it from the notepad file where you saved all your ID’s)
Open the surfing page, and at the top of page click Bookmark.
From drop down menu click Bookmark this page.

In the drop down menu you will see the Name of the exchange you just bookmarked.

From the Create in: box, select the group you want this exchange to be opened in.

Click OK. Repeat these procedures for each surfing url you want to bookmark.

To Open these pages for surfing: Open FireFox, click Bookmark at top of page.

Click Manage bookmarks from drop down window.
Right click on your mouse over the group of exchanges you want to open.

From drop down menu click Open in Tabs.All TE’s in that group will open in separate Tabs at the top of the age… 

When all Tabs have finished loading, click on the first tab, log in if necessary, and start your surfing session. Click on the next tab, start surfing. Repeat for all the tabs. Once you’ve started surfing in the last tab, go back to the first one. Depending on how many TE’s you’ve added, the counter should have finished counting down or be close to it. Make sure the counter is finished before you click it (if you click too early you won’t get credit) and click the correct button to view the next site.

Focus all your traffic to “H.I.T.” you will begin to receive signups notices in your inbox on a regular basis.Yes, instead of pouring your heart into advertising the website of the latest affiliate program, you need to advertise your lead capture page. (Collect names & email addresses NOW… sell later)

Communication Builds Relationships!

Too often we overlook these valuable INSTANT MESSAGING tools and it is a big mistake.I use both. EVERYDAY!

Invite every lead, signup, optin that approaches you about your business to your contact manager (buddy list).You can use it for PC-to-PC calling, promotion, training, conference calls, file sharing, or just generally keeping in touch.My personal favorite is Skype Free Internet telephony. With Skype you can contact anyone in the world that has Skype for FREE!

For a small fee you can have the same access to anywhere in the world whether they have Skype or not.In my Primary business as soon as someone fills out the contact form, I immediately call them from Skype. This immediate access usually gets me a new distributor

Monster Traffic Using Rotators 

A great idea is to load up all your traffic exchange and referral url’s into a rotator, and then advertise all your traffic exchanges to all the other exchanges to bring in as many referrals as you can. Most exchanges will give you lots of credits for signing up new referrals, and also a percentage of each referrals surfing credits! Do this for a month or two. This will gain you much extra leverage, and will cut down on promoting them one by one by a huge margin! Result? Lots of Free Traffic, coming to your sites!

Apsense Online Forums are a great way to promote your business. Forums offer a wealth of information from other members, use signature file at the end of every post. Your signature file links to your site, so the more active you are in the forum the more trust you build. This will cause people to click on your links.

Blogging is an excellent way to promote your site. Set up a blog and submit to it every day. After each post make sure you ping the site so that it gets submitted to blog directories. You have blogging capabilities when you get your Kiosk account and your Apsense account.  Article Writing my favorite way of generating traffic. The more articles you write and submit to directories the more traffic and back links you will build for your site.
